Little things like this can go a long way towards reducing stress, both by cutting down on the brainpower you devote to remembering and juggling obligations, and by reducing the “crunch time” stress of obligations you missed because you didn’t have them scheduled!

Again, this doesn’t have to be a complete, exhaustive, massively detailed itinerary that you set up every day. Just a few simple, quick notes on a calendar. Don’t go crazy over it (unless you want to!)

Exercise

We’re going to go more in-depth on exercise and it’s effect on your body’s testosterone production a bit later in the book, but we’re going to touch on it now because exercise is great at reducing stress. When you’re setting up the schedule we just talked about, I heartily recommend you work in some time for exercise on a regular basis. Exercising helps keep you healthy, strong, and prepared to deal with whatever comes your way. Now, if this was not enough, when you exercise you also cause your brain to release endorphins, which help you de-stress and boost your mood. Regular exercise helps lead to mood stability and a more well-established internal rhythm (which can help with sleep, as well). As I said, we’re going to go into specific stuff about exercise later, but suffice it to say it should definitely be a part of your life!
